Covid-19 rapid test

This is the new norm. Within the space of 2 weeks, I had to go through this inconvenient but necessary swab test to ensure that none of us is positive of covid-19. Unfortunately 2 of my local staff were found to be positive even though they showed no symptoms. I immidiately had to issue them a stay home order and informed the MOH. The good thing was that both had taken 2 doses of Astrazeneca. So the vaccines really work. The only fear I have now is on how we can get the booster shots as apparently the immunity wanes after 7 or 8 months and there is a need for a booster shot. I hope the govt here is kind enough to let us have a booster shot like the way they let us have our 2 doses.

In all honesty, I'm actually very impressed with Cambodia's vaccine roll out. They are now close to vaccinating 9 million of her population. That's more than half of the country's population of 16.5 million. This boils down to the strong leadership of the PM who is personally committed to ensuring the country meets it's target of vaccinating 80% of it's population by October. Pm Hunsen actually warned the provincial governors that he would hold them responsible if the provinces fail to meet the vaccination targets. This is true leadership via accountability.
