We are all packed and ready to go home sweet home. Today is officially the start of my 18th month posting leave. That means I can go back to Brunei with my entire family on an all paid leave. Actually its been more than 21 months my whole family have not been back to Brunei. So all of us a very excited. I told the kids to come up with a to do list and we will need to priotize them. Of course visiting their grand parents will be on top, second will be food hunting, third will probably be going to the beaches. Well, being posted in a land locked country, the kids have been saying they miss the family picnic at the beaches. In Brunei, we do have nice beaches. My favourite is Pantai Muara and Pantai Seri Kenangan. I for one miss Bukit Shahbandar and the Tasek, my almost daily jogging track. Tasek is a reserved forest turned recreatioanal area. With its pristine jungle close to the heart of town its popular with Bruneians for some good run or light jog.
We will fly off this afternoon via Bangkok. Until then..:-)
